Homeless Guest Services Program

Food Service: Assist with serving dinner to our homeless guests (Monday through Saturday from 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. and Sunday from 5:15 – 6:00 p.m.).

Chapel Service Leadership: Direct a 30-minute Christian chapel service for our Homeless Guests that communicates the message of the triune God’s love and grace. Appropriate leadership may include a pastor, church youth group, choir, Bible study, etc. (Monday through Saturday from 7:00 – 7:30 p.m. and Sunday from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m.).

Special Events: Serve at our Easter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Feasts.

Outpatient Program

Educational Teachers: Share your knowledge in a small group setting on topics such as life skills, health, and recovery.

Residential Treatment Program

Tutor: Meet regularly with a resident to increase his/her skill level in reading, math, writing, or computer work. A tutor must possess basic skills in one of the above mentioned areas (Weekday mornings; times vary).

Spiritual Mentor: Develop a supportive and healthy relationship with a resident as they walk through our recovery program—serving as a Christian role-model and encourager (one hour/week commitment).

Teacher: Lead sessions on a variety of topics including life skills, career development, money management, or faith.

Recreational Activities Leader: Lead small groups of residents on walks, hikes, bike rides, or other various activities.
