There’s hope for the hopeless during the holidays and so much more. Please stop and read our holiday issue of Milestones and discover the hope that’s experienced by our residents in recovery and homeless guests: Holiday Newsletter 2015
We will be holding our annual Christmas Feast on Wednesday, December 23 in our dining hall located at 535 East Yanonali Street from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Our staff and volunteers will serve meals to men, women and children. Our Women’s Auxiliary will provide a gift distribution in our parking lot for all of the guests who attend the feast. We’re able to serve up to 400 people in need through charitable donations of food and gift items from the Santa Barbara community.
The holidays can be a joyful time, but a lonely time for those that are struggling with poverty, homelessness, and addiction. We offer hope and a new beginning, so many of the graduates of our 12-month residential recovery program started here with a simple holiday meal.
Donations are still needed for the gift distribution. Please contact Jill Wallerstedt at 966-1316 ext. 111.
Aaron spoke for the men in his graduating class and shared his life story of courage, hope and strength. In less than three minutes, you can hear it for yourself in this brief video.
