Thanksgiving Feast

We will be holding our annual feast on Wednesday, November 21 from 12:00 to 2 p.m. We received a great response and have all of the volunteers we will need for that day. If you are interested in serving at another time, please click here. We are accepting turkeys, canned food, and monetary donations. Turkeys can be dropped off at 535 East Yanonali Street Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Our dining hall is under construction so it will be a different experience this year for all of us. It will take a lot of coordination, but we are up for the challenge.

The Bayou Open Breaks a Record

Our 17th annual Bayou event broke a record this year by raising over $525,000 dollars. We are so grateful for our Women’s Auxiliary who make the event possible every year. We were pleased to honor Dave and Anna Grotenhuis for their partnership with us to ensure the Rescue Mission will have a renewed facility to serve the homeless and addicted in our community for decades to come.

Diego’s Graduation Day

Another shining example of what a year in our residential recovery program can achieve for those who are willing to do the hard work of recovery.
